Dave
At least the U21s are showing the seniors how qualification is done (albeit against poor opposition), 19 points from 21; one goal - a penalty - conceded in seven games.

Yorkie
31,000 for an Under-21 match. Brilliant.
ElDiablo
Forgot AGAIN, jesus i've missed the last few under 21 games due to forgetting it was on. Milner always puts in a good performance for the u21's tbf.
Rich
Not sure if I've missed the boat, but it's good to see that Jose Enrique is playing tonight (against N'Zogbia). Barring any ill-effects he'll hopefully be good to go on Saturday
Tooj
We rest him for one game and he does this Actually i think Milner needs a rest..been playing non-stop since the start of last season. He's in his early 20's man, does he shite need a rest.
Guest nufc_geordie
Never saw the game, but on Sky Sports News after the match, their pundit (can't remember who it was) was asked who he thought Bladini would recommend to Capello after watching that. He said that Taylor and Wheater were solid and performed well and that Walcott, Noble and Huddlestone stood out. ANy truth in that or is that just the media with their wooden spoon out again saying the names they think people want to hear?
Guest nufc_geordie
Something else that I was thinking about was Stuart Pearce;s role in the senior set-up. What sort of contribution can he have if (a) he spends all week up until the night before the game with the U21's, (b) Capello still send Baldini to scout for him at the U21 matches. By the time Pearce gets with the senior squad today, he would have seen no training sessions, the team will more than likely be picked, and Capello's assistant will already have told him about the U21 game. Token appointment.
