Barring Palermo, despite our poor form I'd be very disappointed if we lost any of the others. I reckon 4 home wins, a point at Boro and two defeats.

it is impossible to say really - the way we are playing i fear we'll get next to nothing, but then again....

here goes - 1pt in the uefa cup against fener, and 5 pts. in the league....

The sky certainly look gloom for us isnt it? But I always try to be optimistic and Im sure we will get a couple of good result.Important matches coming up thick and fast and we really need to buck up if we want to progress.

I'm still too depressed from yesterday to drum up any optimism but I'm starting to fear the worst.

I was fearing the worst when Glenn was IDIOTICALLY given the job.

Check back - I said it then, and had to battle against many who now are saying the same.

I'd give the job to Gerard Houllier.

Whoever is appointed whether permanent or caretaker will have to sort out the defence. Unfortunately the first thing to be done is make us hard to beat. Then we can work on a more balanced midfield ( with a good ball winning player) and the woeful striking situation. Neither Soumess nor Roedent have understood the necessity in tackling this problem and are paying the price. Is there a more tactically naive and hopeless a manager in the premiership than Roedent ?

Yeah, Boro's one of those places that no matter how good/bad we are, we always seem to win. We've also had some weird and not so wonderful scorers down there in recent years (Goma, Pistone, Charvet, Dabizas...). Might be worth a few quid on Moore first scorer on Sunday!

Should beat Fenerbache, Middlesbrough, Charlton, Sheffield United and maybe Manchester City.

Can't see us getting anything more than a draw against Palermo and Portsmouth might be tough.

The home league games that are coming up are extremely important, we can't afford to drop points in any of them if we want to get into Europe again, never mind staying in the Premiership.

Fener are in pretty shite league form aswell mind, they threw awaya lead at the weekend aswell.

their manager seems quite clueless. i get the impression that Fenerbahce have a poor away record in europe, but i don't actually know if this is the case or not. anyone know for sure?
