really?

I know its not England/Manchester's fault, far from it.. but unfortunately the footballing world is going to see this as british thugs wrecking and rioting in england yet again..

hype of this is ridiculous, all the ManUre fans and media are making it out that it means they can’t watch the final on telly in town centre next week!! yet they wouldn’t take the risk of watching it on a knacked telly, all the bars will be showing it anyway, and most of their fans don’t live anywhere near Manchester – tossers!

Yes, really. Firstly, as far as Uefa are concerned England and Scotland are completely separate entities. Secondly, what about the terrible violence in Italy recently? Including the death of a policeman? Did that stop Rome getting the CL final the year after next? You have far worse hooligan problems in places like Russia and Turkey but they've been awarded CL finals. Same goes for Greece. Also, was last night badly policed? I think you're overreacting. It seems to be contagious today.

Aye, we are WAY down the list of countries with hooligan problems.

Poland is another place with quite frankly MENTAL amounts of football violence.

Bare chested mass organised fights between rival fans are common place.

UEFA have praised Manchester's organising of the event.

Couldn't give a flying fuck if Scotland get no events.

Scotland just hosted the Uefa cup last year which had no serious trouble and has been praised for so why would Scotland get no events?

They are Rangers fans. Just because the majority are Scottish then Scotland will get punished? The SFA ren't going to get punished as a result of the Rangers fans stupidity.

I think there was only our metal-loving friend who thought there'd be any major repurcussions anyway.

No surprise to see the Daily Ranger putting a different slant on things...

"Friendly invasion"

Doesn't even mention the stabbing! Wow.

The stabbing turned out to be not that bad afaik.

Is there such a thing as a not bad stabbing?

Hope the Rangers fans involved in the trouble are proud of themselves. They've disgraced their club. No doubt any Rangers fan you speak to will still try and tell you how great their support is. F**k them. A**eholes.

Rangers fans are doing their 'nut' about the GM Police 'brutality' after this video of an apparent innocent by-stander being clobbered was released.

A s*** load of Celtic fans must have rushed out and bought Zenit tops or something.  Sold out everywhere.

Shame, wouldn't have minded getting one.

Rules of being a football fan number 325 says:

Never wear a football shirt that isnt that of the club team you support or the country you belong to.
