Guest sicko2ndbest
This should be the first glimpse of the NEW 'Capello' style. Last game before qualifying!
Dave
Lampard and Gerrard together again, the latter forced onto the left. Learnt absolutely fuck all from the last few years.
Cronky
Strange selection in midfield. Not much pace at all. Gerrard, Lampard and Beckham together doesn't work.
Belfast Boy
No Joe Cole anywhere, and the only attacking subs are Bentley and Downing. Why have so many defenders on the bench?
Dave
Young Barry Gerrard Cole I'd play that, but it'd mean dropping Lampard. Yet another England manager shows he hasn't got the balls to do it.

Guest sicko2ndbest
Why are we playing long balls to midgets. The midfield balance dosnt look right to me
Gash
I would have started Heskey ahead of Defoe
Dave
I would have started Heskey ahead of Defoe No point whatsoever in calling Heskey up if he's not going to start him.
brummie
Capello will win England the world cup. And Angelina Jolie is going to pour me a large gin and tonic. After she's wiped my man mess from her fat lips. obv.
Belfast Boy
What was wrong with Micah Richards at RB. He seemed to have settled in quite nicely there. I know he is a CB but then so is Wes Brown.

Belfast Boy
A genuine question to fans of Capello, I don't ever claim to have much of a vast knowledge of European football. What is he bringing to the table that makes him worth so much money. McClaren was obviously a Buffoon, but what is different with the system being used tonight? Guest kingdawson
Had a look at the team sheet then decided i'd rather play FM.

I appreciate he has been hugely successfull in the past, but is he basically saying that Ericsson and McClaren were doing the best possible with the players we have, and he can't bring anything new in terms of systems or other players?
