Guest thenorthumbrian
Do these people think it is beneath them to talk to the fans who support the club they own/run ? There seems to be a disgraceful level of contempt here.
AyeDubbleYoo
The club have put out a couple of statements in recent days, I know we'd all like to know exactly what happened but there's no way they're all going to air their dirty laundry in public. Andy
I'd rather think they were busy searching for a new manager, as opposed to being busy thinking of bullshit to feed the fans.
Guest Darth Toon
They don't give a shit - it's a fait accompli. They're just giving us a little time to punch ourselves out before we get back in our little boxes and they can get on with doing whatever the fuck they want. It'll most likely work too.... I rather suspect they know full well who the new manager is, they're just leaving it a reasonable length of time before announcing it. Just in case the thick geordie twats see straight through them. AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think any of them have done a great deal wrong to be honest, I think most of the vitriol directed at them just comes from the fact we all loved Keegan so much.

Guest Darth Toon
I don't think any of them have done a great deal wrong to be honest - Bringing in players without the manager's knowledge - Failing to even try to land any of the manager's own targets, and offering no explanation why - Attempting to sell players behind the manager's back - Allegedly putting the whole squad up for sale - Making a net profit on transfer dealings - where's all the TV money? Season ticket cash? - Not adequately communicating with the fans at any stage - Dismissing the manager's concerns by letter - Owner leaving the country at a critical stage for the club - Backing a horrible little cockney shit against a local hero

Aye, but I had hoped before this that our fans would be able to see past the fact that Ashley's not a Geordie. Obviously some of them can't, but if they think being managed by Shearer or having a Geordie owner would automatically make things better they're kidding themselves. This 'cockney' thing is a load of balls TBH.

If they think they haven't done anything wrong let them try and and justify the mess they created. They must think that they can defend themselves, or are they getting together to get the story straight ? I'll be honest it'll take a miracle to persusade most of us to believe anything that horrible cockney poision dwarf Wise says. But he could try. Guest gggg
Keegan has said himself players were brought in that he made clear he didn't want. No reason to believe the other points aren't true if things like that are going on.

Bellars
This entire debacle has made their task much more difficult; what first-rate manager in his right mind is going to come to take the job now, knowing there's the possibility of being undermined? Offshore
This entire debacle has made their task much more difficult; what first-rate manager in his right mind is going to come to take the job now, knowing there's the possibility of being undermined? Maybe because he'll understand the reasoning behind it, maybe because he'll have worked like that before (abroad) and maybe he isn't so prone to throwing his rattle oot the pram when he doesn't get his own way. Maybe, of course.
