1022: No definitive word as yet from the Premier League as to whether they will extend the transfer deadline as a result of all the snow. The fact they haven't told us it won't suggests that maybe it will.

David Craig update on SSN...

Llambias at training ground with Kinnear, working on transfers...

We have allegedly bid around £1.3m for Daniel Fox, but Coventry want 'a much higher figure' - negotiations ongoing....

I seem to remember a figure of £3m being touted not long ago.

“We’re looking for another two players on top of Kevin and Ryan,” said Kinnear.

“I’d originally earmarked four, and we’ve been chasing players for a while now.

Ideally, one of them would be a striker.”

Arshavin must be hoping it gets extended, at this rate he'll have to fly to 4 or 5 different clubs!

10.37 A further update from Sky Sports News on Robbie Keane who believe Real Madrid's Argentine striker Javier Saviola has been in discussions with Spurs over a loan deal. However, if Tottenham's move for Keane is sucessful then Saviola could make the switch to Anfield.

tbh, a 5pm deadline was stupid. It should have been midnight anyway.
