Didnt hear what he said but I am guessing he is trying to suggest that Gerrard has been a class above everyone else in a white shirt ? Said he's been a key part of England's team, and basically that it rubbish to suggest Gerrard hasn't produced for his country. Am I being biased in saying that I cant think of 1 occassion when he has genuinely stood out for England (except for 1 great goal against Germany) ? He has more interceptions than any other player in the premier league, his pace saves us and causes problems to the other team. Arsenals most consistent performer of the last 2 seasons!
