Guest WashyGeordie
I'll be angrily disappointed if he is still receiving a wage from NUFC next season after Aug 31. More so Alan Smith for me.
Ronaldo
Smith, Lovenkrands, Perch, Raylor - none of them belong anywhere near this level.
ChrisMcQuillan
I really like Lovenkrands as a professional and as a person. I just wish he was slightly more able in his 30s. Did us a great service in the Championship. Good enough to be our Kuqi-style "we're fucked" striker next year for the end of his contract. After that, adios, and thanks for the goals. Punk77
Agreed Chris. I hope Barton plays CM against Villa. I think that could give Loven another dimension since he will receive more through compared to our normal setup with Nolan Tiote.
Ronaldo
Another dimension. Give over with this rubbish, man.
Punk77
Another dimension. Give over with this rubbish, man. Don't take everything too literally, stupid. His play will improve. You're fucking incapable of substantiate your views. Instead of constantly labeling peoples opinions for rubbish, you could for once try to give the grounds for why you disagree... HongKongMag
I would agree. Whilst in an ideal world he should not be starting for us, he is one of the better forwards that we have at the moment in terms of movement, pace and goal scoring record. Could be good cover for next season, although I would hope he'd be playing with the reserves and only coming into the first team picture when the shite really hits the fan in injury-terms. You're f***ing incapable of substantiate your views. Instead of constantly labeling peoples opinions for rubbish, you could for once try to give the grounds for why you disagree... I could easily 'substanciate' my views. Lovenkrands has made a career of being an average second-tier forward, and is now past that glittering peak at 31. To expect 'another dimension' from him simply because one of our top players will likely be played out of position is absurd, frankly. Course, given that you're coming out with this stuff on a regular basis, you should know it already. I can't always feed your ignorance.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
I didn't actually think he did that badly today, like all our fit strikers he's not good enough but does a better job over 90 minutes than Ranger.
Foluwashola
Aye, he was possibly the only player who performed respectably.

Pilko
You what? It was another 90 minutes of practically zilch.
JH
More effective than Ranger tbh

wormy
You what? It was another 90 minutes of practically zilch. Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Barely realised he was on the pitch. Would rather seeing Ranger try and fail than Lovenkrands being invisible.
Greg
He had a couple of decent chances, should have scored.
Guest neesy111
Did ok and actually looked more involved than I've seen him at the club but that isn't saying much with the team we had out.
Punk77
He didn't have much to work with either. We failed to give him through balls and our wide men didn't have many decent crosses during the game..
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
You what? It was another 90 minutes of practically zilch. Was a better performance than Ranger. And having Loven playing means Ranger is left to what he is limited to- an impact player.
Ronaldo
'Through balls.' You talk about him as if he's Higuain, man. He wouldn't know what to do with a through ball. He probably thinks it's something you do to a lassie after a night oot on the p*ss in Glasgee.
madras
feel sorry for him at times, our only good movemant upfront, and now read this right....he'd really profit from someone like ben arfa but i'd rather he wasn't in the first team next season. Pilko
You what? It was another 90 minutes of practically zilch. Was a better performance than Ranger. They were about the same. Ranger's touches were shite, Lovenkrands didn't have many.

He probably thinks it's something you do to a lassie after a night oot on the p*ss in Glasgee. You obviously have no clue. Loven is capable of two things..tapping the ball from short distance and beating the offside trap. But in order to beat the offside, he needs a cm that is able to hit him through. The only man we have on the pitch capable of performing such passes is Barton, but he's now playing rm . Do you actually think Loven will get those passes when Guthrie and Colo is playing cm. Against Wolves Barton drifted inside and delivered Loven one good ball into space..The result? Loven hit the post..
Ronaldo
He also needs pace in order to do that. If this ball-playing CM can double as a time machine, fair enough.
Punk77
He doesn't need much pace because he's very capable of timing his runs.
