if the club doesn't pay it, barclays could apply for the club to be placed in administration as that what happens when club's don't pay bills

Ashley will surely pay up, or he will lose everything.

i bet that him selling his stake in jjb was for this

Why until Friday?

not sure.

david craig claims they are 'vwery very well placed sources'

Hell's bells, this is all manna from heaven for the hacks who must be loving all this!!  Just when they thought the NUFC-misery-well was running dry they get this beauty.

Sorry, dont know all the ins-and-outs of the accounts made public - but am i right then that it appears the club is using an overdraft, which is up to £40m, despite Mike Ashley having allegedly paid off most of the debt he inherited?

most clubs use an overdraft function, it bridges the gap in the season between season ticket sales etc

I think the OD story is a red herring, its Just the journalists putting a bit of polish on the story, it wont affect the big picture, which is who is going to buy the club.

There's a 21 day thing, so it's not Friday. And if the club went into admin Barclay's would be amongst the last to be paid as it's an unsecured creditor. It's quite complex, more than SSN make it out to be, so probably uninformed speculation.
