please stop the gay jokes...its pathetic!

This.

This. Who really cares tbh. There has got to be a couple of gay footballers in the Premier League, just sad that they have to hide their sexuality because of sad little boys who will make an issue of it!

Its highly likely that God will be smiting you for calling him a sad little boy!  :knuppel2:

WTF?

In liviticus in the Old Testament it says that homosexuality is wrong it puts it up there with shaving your beard a particular fashion and eating pig. Pretty sure drinking is in there too.

Not wanting to go off on a religious tangent, but Leviticus governs the behaviour of the priesthood, not the lay people.  So unless Xisco is secretly a rabbi he's not got much to worry about.

Ah so you prefer the older and questionably wrong translation of the Old Testament which incorrectly translates the word "toevah" to mean abomination, rather than the more recently accepted translation where it is agreed that it means culturally taboo.

Aye. Anyway back on subject. It doesn't matter if he is gay. Just stupid that he would get a load of stick because of his sexuality and yet someone like John Terry can knock up his best mate's ex and no-one in the stands says boo.

Ummm. Is that a joke? I'm pretty sure boo was all anyone said about it at the grounds. But more like BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO than just boo.

It's not offensive talking about his perceived homosexuality, but it's offensive how unfunny and boring it is.

That's the main issue. Not offended by gay jokes in the slightest, but if you're gonna make jokes about him, at least think up some original and funny ones rather than the ones used for the past year.

He's a player for Newcastle United and more importantly another human being.  The "gay jokes" shouldn't stand, period.  All it promotes is your own uncomfortableness with homosexuality and intense ignorance.  Anyone who makes a gay joke at Xisco's expense needs to take a close look at themselves and try and figure out why they even feel the need.

Im not offended by gay joke either. Im also not offended by jokes about black people or disabled people, but it doesnt make any of them right, or in the slightest bit funny.
