Ronaldo
No way he is unfit? f*** off. Shearer never did alot of running at the age of 29, was he unfit? f***ing hell. How many times have you see Nolan play this season without the help of a Sky dish? Does a cable count? No. Although watching a match in Shearer's Bar counts as a half. Seriously though, answer the question. Not sure why TV viewing is less valid, but i've seen 14 games as SJP this season.
STM
Comparing Nolan with Shearer So you are not allowed to put two players in the same sentence without being accused of comparing the two players ability? When that's clearly not what i was doing? According to Ronaldo's theory; Shearer at 29+ fuck all running= bad attitude off the pitch Nolan has never been able to run very fast. I don't believe you can seriously evaluate a players contribution on TV, you don't see the whole pitch, movement off the ball etc. Either way I think you need your eyes checked. STM
Nolans game has never been about pace. Do you expect him to suddenly gain an extra 5 yards if he gets fitter? I think he's probably as fit as he can be , he does the same training as anyone and plays as many matches as anyone. Albeit i think he is in need of a rest but i certainly don't think he is unfit. In fact, he's played 2 more games than any other player and 6 more games than any other outfield player. http://www.nufc.com/2009-10html/app-goals.html Jeez, you'd think he would wana give someone else a game... what a bad attitude he must have. Happy Face
Micky Quinn wasn't fit a day in his life and he was one of the greatest number 9's we ever had..
Keefaz
Can't think of many fat, unfit central midfielders we've had who've turned out to be legends, like.

If Nolan spent every day doing a marathon he'd still be "unfit". We have alot of fitness coachs on here like.

Ronaldo
The funny thing is, has Nolan missed his chances in front of goal this season, there wouldn't be a person on here defending his fitness.

I'm not trying to defend his fitness, just his attitude.... via his fitness.
Parky
Fair enough, thought you referring to Nolan's attitude tbh. Again I ask, do you know him? So you have to be a military grade stalker before you can pass cursory judgement on a player? Strange.
