Dave
Hard to tell about the penalty without seeing a slow motion reply. Looked like Jonas kicked through the back of him. The fact that hardly any of our players appeared to complain speaks volumes IMO.
Robster
Terrible defending on the third goal. Yup. Poor.
binnsy
just seen the goals, i'll put the first down to good play by them, they put over a beauty of a cross(maybe given too much room mind) that was asking to be put away, wtf was Jonas doing for the penalty, the lad is running out of the box, going absolutely nowhere and he just kicked the back of his leg, muppet. The 3rd just a half cleared corner, Hulse just hooked it back in but fell to a derby player unmarked to smashed it in.
Guest Phil K
Jayson doesn't half make me laugh at times. We've conceded 9 out of our 20 goals in the few games that Coloccini's been absent, it's pretty f***ing obvious how much we miss him when he doesn't play. What I was saying. Patently obvious that without Colo and Taylor this defence is a POOR championship defence. God alone knows how many they'd concede in the Prem (IF we go up, and its a BIG if)
Jayson
Well no - its a fair point. Theres no basis to claim Colo is the better defender than Taylor atall, so its not really no. Thats not what I was saying was a fair point. That Colo and Taylor absent from the side is disatrous for this team. You dont say

I'd say performance-wise Colo and Taylor's performance have been similar. Some mistakes, but overall decent. leazes.ender
Lets make it clear that we were on the end of some shocking decisions tonight. Sadly the ones by Hughton were as bad as the refs (and his shocking linesmen). Waiting a 2 down to make a change until it was 3 sum him up. Clueless. There's enough evidence for me, we were conceding a fair few goals without him in the team. He returned against Sheff Utd and we kept a clean sheet. Even .com recognized that he was the difference in that game. And again, the second he's out of the team the goals start coming back in, it's no coincidence, as much as you'd love it to be. Big Geordie
No way Hughton will leave out Nolan, regardless of how poor he's been since Xmas. He's one of his blue-eyed boys. Nolan was tremendous for the first few months of the season, but the goals he scored masks the minimal input he has into games, in such an important position. And now the goals have dried up...... I'll be honest Dave the ref and assistant refs had a shocker Just a few points: He stopped play to award us a free-kick in the build up to Carrolls disallowed goal He should of sent Savage off, it was violent conduct The ref stopped play in the first half when we were in a very promising position for an injury The assistant ref gave numerous poor routine decisions In the build up to their first goal the ref gave the decisino the wrong This is not by any means sour grapes, as overall we didnt deserve it, and Derby without pulling up any trees outbattled and outmanouevered us, but the standard of officiating was the worst i have seen

Once the player went down it was always going to be a penalty.
