I've personally listened to The Guardian one and didn't really get into it also (hear me out before you dismiss it) The Alan Davies: Up for grabs Arsenal podcast read the reviews over on iTunes and fans from all clubs love it, he basically just takes the piss out of Arsenal. Regular viewing and friends of mine who support various teams love it.

Any of you listen to any football podcasts?

The Football Ramble is class. 4 blokes basically just chat like a group of blokes at a pub, except they're pretty knowledgable. Not afraid to speak their mind either and say things as it is, it's a good humourous listen.

On a totally different note, if anybody's interested in wider range of football then '5 Live's World Football Phone in' is superb. It's on at some ungodly hour so I've never listened to the live thing but the podcast is a cut down version of it. They actually have some journos on there that are knowledgable and aren't utter cunts, South American specialist Tim Vickery in particular really knows his stuff.

Sounds like the Arsenal one, going to give that a listen.

The Football League podcast with Clem is awful, although occasionally there's a decent guest on.  I listen to the BBC Newcastle podcast, Lowes and Anderson are a right pair of numpties but it's nice to hear the game back.

Guardian Podcast is still probably the best one around, but the FourFourTwo one is catching up for me. Recently started to buy World Soccer Magazine too, which seems to balance out the increasingly poor 'laddish' approach that FourFourTwo has been heading towards for years.

NFL Rant & Raves is the only NFL Podcast I'll listen to.

 Is that the one they were on about on Soccer Saturday today?

Aye! They've been on SSN a few times, usually help out with the London NFL game and the Superbowl over here. Its a good podcast too though, they go through all the latest news in the NFL, have a good relationship with each other so its easy to listen to.

Ah right, might try that one; could come in handy for the Pub Quiz. Need to brush on Golf, Horse Racing & Tennis for the sport round!

Football Ramble, Football Weekly (The Guardian's podcast), and 5 live's World Football Phone-In. I used to listen to The Game's podcast but they spend about 35 mins of the 40 banging on about the top 4. Ridiculous bias. Oh, and they usually have an annoying Scouser on it.

This has recently started, just about to give it a listen:

http://www.europeanfootballshow.eu/

The European Football Show is a new podcast launching in June that takes you on a journey across the continent to discuss the stories that matter.

Presenter Dave Farrar will be joined by European football writer Ben Lyttleton and a host of guests, including Gabriele Marcotti, Jonathan Wilson and Iain Dowie, to go behind the European headlines, while there will also be regular tactical analysis from Zonal Marking's Michael Cox.

Coming up in the next show:

Spain and its problem of competitive balance.

How Sampdoria went from Champions League to relegation.

A former Premier League coach explains West Ham's demise.

The story behind Germany's new generation of coaches.

French football prepares for a new dominant force.
