Cleveland Police = W*****s

It's always the same people complaining about the police / stewards on here......

They pulled us in on the A19. They told us they were acting on 'information recieved'

I'm not joking when I say that at least 6 squad cars, 2 vans and as one copper was happy to enlighten us an ARU as well. And the dogs!

They 'detained' us for 30 minutes while they filmed us, nigh on took the bus apart looking for what I haven't a clue. Drink likely! There was none.

And post match a lad 12 years old got hit by a missile flung from the smoggie bastards and cut his head. Paramedics had to patch him up.

So other than doing their job whats your point?

I am assuming if you ring 999 to say theres a 21 stone burglar coming to tear you a new arse you would expect them to ingore this 'information received'?

Its an absolute disgrace the way that a lot of the police treat football fans, particularly away supporters

If it was any other group or section of society they simply would not be able to get away with it - it would be classed as a breach of human rights  Filming people, restricting where they they can and cannot go, stopping people having a drink etc.

They tar all away fans with same brush - basically its lazy policing, they should concentrate on the few troublemakers rather than the vast majority who want nothing more than to have a few drinks and a good day out

I'm sure they put as much manpower into finding the missile thrower as they did to harass you and your mates.  :nope:

How do they find the time? Have they caught all the nappy botherers and junkie prostitutes yet?

From what I heard, Crumpy and Blef got picked up at Easington services. Now I'm no expert but I'm sure (I could be wrong though) that Easington falls under Northumbria police and that they were acting outside of their juristriction if they picked anyone up there.

The escort was a complete joke. Completely unorganised and no need for it. There's never been an escort necessary before so why now? I suspect a new chief of police (Chief Wigham maybe) trying to make his mark. I escort was to the station but I was in the car so didn't want to go to the fucking station! Every copper I asked as to how I could get to my car was abusive to me. We eventually got to the car after evading a couple of keystone cops in the station. Complete shambles.

It was that badly organised that you could go to the back of the cordon, exit quite calmly to the right, walk past everyone else and continue walking the way they'd have taken you.

Years of experiencing inept policing at football works both ways.
