From what I heard, Crumpy and Blef got picked up at Easington services. Now I'm no expert but I'm sure (I could be wrong though) that Easington falls under Northumbria police and that they were acting outside of their juristriction if they picked anyone up there.

'outside their juristiction ? this isn't smokey and the bandit where police can't cross state lines you know.

Bonnie and Clyde?

Turner and Hooch.

They didn't know what they were doing all day. That ridiculous escort was a joke. At one point I just walked through the front of it, then had to slip back into it to meet my mates again. Its served no purpose. Then at the end they started to head under that bridge. I had no idea where I was going so just followed, and found out I was facing up to smoggies. Haha. Thought I was going to get battoned.

They were wankers on the way there too. They just seemed to lift this lad for no reason. He looked about 14/15. Seemed to me the police were just doing a 'look what we can do!' thing. No way were they going to go an lift someone bigger. Cunts!

The first thing I thought when I saw that window get put out was that it was completely the fault of the police. If they'd let everyone leave on their own we'd never have been grouped altogether and there would have been no bother.

They totally ignored those teenagers throwing stones at the coaches. We got our windows hit a couple of times.

the club really should of put buses on for this, could of saved a lot of bother tbh

Yup , it was a nightmare when no-one had a clue where there buses were . It was a maze of Coaches.

They all had numbers on. How hard would it have been for Cleveland police to have moved the coaches from the usual coach parking area to the away end exits in the order on the numbers? Instead there was no correlation between where the coaches were and the numbers they had been given.

I have been to now the last four Boro away matches and I have never seen any bother really other the yesterday.  Last year I saw 4 smoggies kick off with a geordie lad and his bairn but that soon stopped when they saw there was as many geordies and police nearby.

Yesterday however was pointless, and inept policing.  I would be surprised if they could police a school fight.  To keep everyone back agitates people who want to make a quick exit which in itself causes anger.  Then you get the knob heads amongst our fans who decide that because its a big huddle everyone is a hooligan and wants a fight with any smoggy near by thus try to take on the police to 'get at' the smogs.  The window getting putting in was the polices fault for allowing everyone so close to the pub, however also by not thinking all the smogs drinking in the pub might cause anger amongst Newcastle fans and result in that actually happening.

3 young boro lads, of about 15 looked absolutely scared shitless at the prospect of having to walk through the subway to get with to the town centre, only for the police to push them down.  Idiots.

I saw some bloke kicking off with police just outside the station as some young lad was getting whacked with a baton, for nothing other then getting a bit close to the police line and having a moan at the way it was organised.  Then some smoggy copper decided to start shouting "come and have a go" - what sort of fucking bollocks policing is that, especially when he had a dog in hand.  Tosser.

They had drafted in some Nottingham police aswell, they were also wankers on a massive power trip.

they were pricks for Forest away in all, riot vans called for no reason whatsoever, saw them assault a lad for no reason, and a dog bit a guy's leg...i know its a typical thing to say but the police created more problems that day than they solved

Police crowd control tactics have turned nasty in recent years - very cynical in their planning I'd say, like they almost want to build up tension and stress in crowd members ("kettling" being a prime example of this) so that they can guarantee themselves a nice batch of arrests and a bit of truncheon action to alleviate their own petty tensions in their pissy little lives.

Bastards, the lot of them. :hmm:

They got everyone into an escort on the way back , and held people for 10minutes , for some apparent reason about 50 of us were told to start walking , but then began to get hit with battons for " breaking the line " . The escort was then split in 2 , about 300 still outside the ground , and us lot walking ahead with 4 police officers escorting us. Didn't come as a surprise when there was a couple of little scuffles which broke out .

Every bar we passed they thought it would be good to stop right outside of it , looking for bother. Must of been on commission on number of arrests they made.

Got to the station were about 8 smoggies tried to kick off , the normal entrance which we use every year without any bother was out of bounds for us , so they began using the battons again and horses to force us down the subway bit. The police got so out of hand , that newcastle fans started to react and began fighting back causing a couple of lads cut faces and a couple without phones as the coppers wouldn't let them pick them up.

I was then forced onto a train I didn't want to get , as my pal was in the other escort . Trying to explain to them is like talking to a brick wall , when I asked them if I could wait for the other train I got told quite simple to fuck off you geordie cunt.

A big well done to Cleveland Police and the British Transport Police on what can only be discribed as an absolute disgrace.

I didn't think it was too bad really.

If some people cant walk 1 mile in a straight line without being a total twat...it says more about the mentality of some of our fans than Cleveland Police tbh.

I am perfectly capable of walking 1 mile in a straight line thanks very much. I don't require a police escort and being sworn at by police for asking how to get to my car to do it.

Me too, but as proved there are plenty who are not! Who do require an Escort and will antagonise the Police enough so that they have to treat everyone with the shit stick at hence swear at you too!

Im no Police advocate by the way.  I hate the filth! :pow:

Every time I hear or read about CP I always think of Robocop:

Small place  Cleveland but with the likes Mallon, Winter & Cattermole all from that neck of the woods it must have more wankers per 100 of the population than anywhere else in England.

They should have just allowed people to walk back at their own pace. All they needed was a few extra police outside the pubs and it would have been fine. But keeping everyone together meant we all ended up at the train station at the same time which could have been avoided.

They could learn a lot from the police at our games, just get them get on with it ignore any botha, easy days work tbh

It's always the same people complaining about the police / stewards on here......

They pulled us in on the A19. They told us they were acting on 'information recieved'

I'm not joking when I say that at least 6 squad cars, 2 vans and as one copper was happy to enlighten us an ARU as well. And the dogs!

They 'detained' us for 30 minutes while they filmed us, nigh on took the bus apart looking for what I haven't a clue. Drink likely! There was none.

And post match a lad 12 years old got hit by a missile flung from the smoggie bastards and cut his head. Paramedics had to patch him up.

Aye same happned to me. You were probabaly on same bus as me, if you were on the one thatthe lad got hit on the head.
