Are people really not going to there normal bar & heading to another bar because of this 3D malarky   It is not even a Newcastle game ffs.

 

Whats the problem with that like? I want to see what it's like. It could be s***, but at least I'm willing to give it a chance.

 

Some of us watch football other than Newcastle too you know. I mean, it's just a match between 1st and 2nd place in the Premiership, nowt important.

 

I find all this hype & people going to different bars for the 3D experience rather bizarre.  "Give it a chance" your not going to war sunbeam your gong to watch a game football on TV.

 

I will be watching the game without glasses in HD. HD another "enhance the viewing experience" thing that is vastly overrated. The point I made by mentioning Newcastle is I would have MORE understanding if people were going off there beaten track if it was a Newcastle game.

 

Some people give a s*** about technology, therefore me 'giving it a chance' is a perfectly apt statement. Since when has anyone ever said the line 'give it a chance' in relation to going to war. Your response is meaningless.

went to yates newcastle, there was one 3d tv, looked good at times, better 2nd half,blurry in some bits tho,they made you give a 1 deposit for the glasses, wudnt bother again tho unless its more widespread

Dragged my arse to one of these 3d venues watch the Tangerines. Must say this 3D lark is canny, much better than I expected. The shots of the fans especially were very sexual.

I tried 3d at the same pub, thankfully just borrowed the specs off some lads who were already there. Looked awful on the one TV they had (though tbf we were quite far back). Would need a far better experience to decide whether it's any good or not.

problem is the best 3d tele which is panasonic's where you need electronic set of 3d glasses which sync with the tele for the best image etc it cost's over £10,000 though!  we had one in at work, looked very nice

Actually weirdly disappointed. I saw "3D pub finder" and for a couple of seconds thought that someone had done something like google streetview, only with pubs. Like, you could name a postcode and it would zoom into the nearest pubs.
