Elliottman
I wouldn't start Ranger, not would I sign Aliadiere. I'd start Best, with Ireland behind (who should be available soon), and I'd rather we put Phil Airey in the squad rather than wasting money on a wage for Aliadiere. what if he isnt as good as Aliadiere? Ginola
Airey? It gives him experience and gives us an impression if he looks like he'll be able to manage it at the top level, even if he doesn't make a massive impact you can usually get an impression of whether or not they'd be able to cut it in the future. I couldn't see Aliadiere being much better than Loven and it's just an extra wage on our books.
Guest Stephen927
Aliadiere has surprisingly good technique but he can't score and he doesn't really do anything to assist the team other than dribble a little bit. He's how I would imagine Jonas would be upfront.

Exiled in Texas
Aliadiere would just be here as insurance. Insurance in case Best's hammy is really harped, and incase we loose another striker. Nothing wrong with insurance.

Guest Shaun
The guys who say Ewerthon is a better option are looking at his stats on wiki, or in some cases, going by Football Manager. Might as well see if Teddy Sheringham or Andy Cole fancy coming out of retirement until the end of the season.

Dokko
If we were Whitley Bay or Blyth i'd worry about us signing Aliadiere due to the lack of quality. He'd comfortably be the worst senior player at our club by some distance, I wouldn't even want him if he paid us. Give our young lads a chance over this never has been please. There's no denying that. Really hope we get Ewerthon cause if NUFC were to take a flop in the championship who used to play for our 3rd rivals then Ashley really has lost it. Might as well go down the park and sign up the first twenty something we see kicking a ball about if we're gonna get aliaderre
Ginola
Yea, it's stupid to think a striker should contribute goals Like Heskey. Even Heskeys goal record is far greater than his, man. Heskey contributes more in other areas as well. Care to divulge how you think Aliadiere would be so beneficial to our team? He failed in the Championship ffs. Lets look at Heskey's stats - as it's the way to judge a player. 3 goals 1 assist this season. 3 goals 2 assists last season. 5 goals 2 assists the season before. Quite astonishing stats that.
