We don't want to overload the squads with subs as it does tend to negate the competetive factor a bit... and the whole thing's been open for interest for literally months now... but we'll happily take a couple more names - as it is forumarama.

 

If anyone has any issues with the squads then let's discuss it. Without trying to be all "oh look at me, aren't i the little miss bossy britches..." - i haven't just whipped them together in five minutes. We want to keep it absolutely as competetive as possible*, whilst maintaining previous alliances. If there's grievances, then cool, give me a shout and we'll have a look - but howay, there's no need to go chopping and changing away to your hearts content, or we'll just end up with a mismatch.

News today that we won't be at Blakelaw - the booking has been cancelled thanks to some form of carnival/festival taking place on the pitch. Presumably it's one of them impulsive carnivals that people don't organise till the last minute, hence why the chap let me book a football match a month ago. Chortle.

 

Hey ho; it's a problem but it can be solved. Gonna have a ring round a couple of people on Monday - and with a bit of luck we'll get a Newcastle Uni pitch. It'll be a bit more expensive on the whole but still nominal per head, i would imagine.

Try Gosforth High School out for size. It's a nice new pitch and is really easy for anyone to get to.

And the pitches are only new there, they're definitely for normos to play on. There's an advert in the NOFC forum 5-a-side thread. Those details are for some separate league arranging crew though I think.
