Village Idiot
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/9405876.stm The agent who engineered Toral's move is Pere Guardiola, brother of Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, who has signed a one-year contract extension. was this bit mentioned? slightly bizarre That's a skewed view of it. Pere Guardiola also reps the two other players that were approached by Arsenal and refused the move. He says he advised Toral to stay but once his client told him he wanted the move he had to serve his client and not Barça.

Village Idiot
We'll never know, but the fact Ballesté and Samper refused the move makes me think he didn't engineer anything and just did his job

Neil
Valencia are doing a really good job of pressurising all over the pitch, but Barca have had the 2 best openings.

Guest neesy111
Barca are very wasteful tonight. Lionel is going through a bad spell. They'll still score mind as they are creating chances still.
Nobody
Is it just me, or does Messi seem to do a hell of a lot of walking and standing around these days? Noticed it against Arsenal and he's doing it quite a bit today. I know it's not his part of the team to be running all the time but there's been a couple of times when I thought he should have made a run off the ball and he was just standing there.
