James Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 This season we are going to need someone who can take a good free kick or corner that is going to land on the head of Carroll and Nolan. A good set piece taker needs to come ahead of any other type of player. Any suggestions of someone we could sign? Or could a player we've got do that job? When you're away to Manchester United, under masses of pressure on the ball, what's the point of putting yourself straight back under pressure by playing the ball quickly to your nearest man and probably losing it? We need to make more of free kicks on the halfway line. It gives us a bit of time for a breather, gives a chance to get some bodies in the box and hopefully carve out a chance.
