thenige
A bit ridiculous how he's been overlooked despite another withdrawal, happy though as knowing our luck he'd have gotten injured against San Marino.
Ryan_Taylor
Ferdinand out, Caulker in. Taylor really has no shot at ever playing for England does he. Fucking pathetic southern boys club.
Guest JS
Ferdinand out, Caulker in. Taylor really has no shot at ever playing for England does he. f***ing pathetic southern boys club. This. I fucked England off long ago, that team represents nothing to me
Wilson
Pleased tbh. Don't want him risked for meaningless matches. He'd probably get dropped next round of internationals anyway when the favourites are back. f*** them. Harsh on Taylor mind.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
me dad's just said 5Live reckon Taylor is now in the England squad?
AlanSkÃrare
Spreading on Twitter that he's been drafted in. Proud of him if so, well deserved. Hopefully no injury.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
WBA-supporting mate booted off at me on Twitter yesterday because I tweeted that he probably deserved a chance over the likes of Caulker. Asked if I was also the sort of person that championed Ricky Lambert and Grant Holt getting call-ups

Well done to the lad but I'd rather he hadn't been 'drafted in' the way we are at the min

Village Idiot
Homegrown players making the nation's squad is something to be proud of, imho.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Deserved, also amazing how long it has taken considering he was once Captain of the U21's.

morla84
Bit of a slap in the face that theres had to be a few players drop out before he was called up, doubt he will let it bother him though. Roy doesn't half make himself look silly at times. Hope he comes back okay, one bad thing is even if he picked up an injury he wouldn't pull out and still give his all. Wilson
Homegrown players making the nation's squad is something to be proud of, imho. Certainly is, bit annoying that it took Ferguson to pull Rio out to get him in though. Also everyone is understandably a bit cautious(?) about the whole idea given his injury record and our precarious position. That said, no one can say he doesn't deserve it
Wilson
He must be buzzing now, fist-punching all over the place. running up to randoms in the street shaking them with a box of jaffa cakes hanging out his pocket.
Ketsbaia
Great news for Steven, very nervous about potential injuries though. There seems to be a new one every day.
