Had enough of the lazy fucker. the kevin nolan argument applies doubly here. nolan got goals but imo kept things ticking over amply while not being overly mobile. shola is less mobile, gets less goals while playing up front and regularly breaks down our possession due to being shit. AyeDubbleYoo
There's no way Shola is less mobile than Nolan like, he just has a more languid style.
Revolution Number 9
Maybe we're going to use him as a mascot?
ads
Despite the fact he's incomprehensively shite I just cannot imagine him playing for another team. However, that doesn't mean we should give him a new contract, it just means he should retire and concentrate on his hat collection.

TRon
There's no way Shola is less mobile than Nolan like, he just has a more languid style. That this sort of myth has almost become taken for granted here says a lot tbh.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
I thought we'd finally get rid of him this summer
Guest labrowski
We all know he's going to keep signing new contracts until we eventually give him one as manager!
Willow
He will play until 35, then become player/manager until he's 50, then become chairman, then he'll be our owner not long after that. He'll also be Newcastle's mayor on the side as well as paying for the angel of the north to be altered to have his face on it.
ads
I can't help but see the follwing scenario unfolding if Shola signs a new deal: Shola: "Hi boss, you wanted to see me?" Pards: "I think you'd made a great coach when you eventually decide to hang up your boots" Shola: "I could make myself available now if you like?" Pards: "If you'd like to kick things off now, that would be great"

TBG
I'm a bit disappointed with the rate he's putting out kids just the one daughter so far isnt it? The cycle needs to start again now that Sammy is close to the first team.
Guest Slarth
Glad he's signing a new contract, it just wouldn't be the same without Shola, that and the Mackems will be ffs not him still
Jack Flash
i'm all for a bit of kooky internet humour but shola is not funny any more like Exactly right. The attitudes would change drastically if they were actually paying to watch him every other week. It's vomit inducing to still think of him as our second choice striker after all these years. Cannot wait till Ba gets injured. Really cannot wait.
