Deuce
Lit up the T&T league. Two from Detroit taken, so that's cool Not just the T&T league, but the MLS combine too. Take a look at his highlight reel: http://www.mlssoccer.com/video/2014/01/15/mls-superdraft-stefano-rjissel-forward-suriname#ooid=hkZHMwazos-Eol4W5Kh8OK5Gp_tDvqGy I'd sign him on that basis.
Deuce
Beckham's close to locking down his Miami club: http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1703186/beckham-uses-option-buy-mls-team?cc=5901 Assuming this goes through, have to think Becks and Co. will look to make the biggest signing in MLS history. Wooing someone like CR7 wouldn't surprise me either.
cubaricho
Orlando City made an announcement on a "huge signing" by teasing with the line "the captain of a South American national team!" - turns out it was the Bolivian national team.

cubaricho
Nice! It's not like there are loads of outstanding franchises in other leagues that deserve to be in the MLS but it's such a smack in the face to the clubs that are trying and being thrown to the wayside by big spenders like Man City and David Beckham. Kaizero
Man City annoys me much more than Beckham, at least Beckham has been a part of making the MLS more popular and in one sense deserves to continue to be a part of it. Man City just comes to New York with some shitty team when there's a franchise with such a rich history as the New York Cosmos right there wanting to join the MLS. Fuck man, annoying. BillClinton
All this careful planning the league has done over the last 10 years, and now they're just handing out franchises like it's nothing. I don't have a problem with Beckham owning one, but the timing and location are awful.

LucaAltieri
Yup, anyone even remotely decent is expensive. Plenty of cheap dross, of course. Just no one you'd actually want.
cubaricho
http://orlandocitysoccer.com/news/?article_id=1722 Stuff like that is great from Orlando City, glad to see the youth program bearing some actual fruit. This year, the NCAA National Signing Day features 30 Orlando City Youth Soccer (OCYS) players signing their National Letter of Intent to various universities across the country. I don't have a problem with Beckham owning one, but the timing and location are awful. Miami has proven to be a terrible location for a soccer club. Becks and Co. will probably need to tie their new franchise to the Heat in order to be successful. Get LeBron and D-Wade out on the streets lobbying for them. And they'll need to attract a top caliber player to be the face of the club. A player at least on par with Beckham when he first came over.
