Guest Roger Kint
Also worth noting that you have to register over-21s out on loan. We had to do this with Fraser Forster. Eh? You don't have to register anybody if you don't want to. Have a look at our registered squad. Eh? What are you talking about? Forster I assume was registered because we had free spaces. It is not necessary to register anybody, whether they're at the club or out on loan. Spurs didn't register Woodgate for example. I thought we had a debate about this in February. Forster, Xisco, and Routledge were all registered despite there being no recall option which we later found out about Forster when Harper got injured. Going out on a limb here but i think we might have played two of those in Premier League games before they left. Um, players are reregistered on 1 Feb because of the transfer window. Um, we couldnt sign anyone else after that date so why remove them? Maybe the club didnt feel the need to ring the PL and ask then to change something that wasnt important. Guest Roger Kint
Registering players that aren't allowed to play for us sounds a bit dumb. Maybe Llambias was being dumb? THEY WERE AND DID PLAY FOR US MAN, BLOODY NORA! Look up one! You too, we brought in Kuqi as we could, nothing else worth bothering with so your argument makes no sense. James
So our club-trained players are: Krul Harper Forster Taylor Ameobi Say we get into Europe next season, will there be four left? Possibly, possibly not, but certainly in the medium term re-signing N'Zogbia could have benefits...
ponsaelius
If you only have 3 club trained players you just register an U21 player as one of them or leave a space.
Guest dogbeak
nah you just go on manager holiday for a day and let the assistant sort it out
ponsaelius
nah you just go on manager holiday for a day and let the assistant sort it out Which essentially does the above if you're struggling.
Guest michaelfoster
updated the OP One space left but i reckon Xisco, Smith & Routledge will leave tbh

I suspect we will end up keeping Crouch (and King) for partly this reason. That's an element of why clubs like Liverpool and us play kids in the Europa. LRD
Trained by club category. Makes further sense if you consider possible out-goings/unwanted home-grown like Barton, Smith, Best, Routledge and the limited 25-man squad.
Guest michaelfoster
We currently have 21 players who need to be registered, we have 4 spaces remaining (see updated OP) We have 12 players who are Home Grown (HG), therefore we could use those 4 remaining spaces to bring in foreign players and remain within the rules or bring in players under the age of 21 who wont need to be registered.
