We are a fucking mystery in the transfer window, Swansea offer Neil Taylor better terms then we sign Santon, can't afford £250,000 for Situ but buy Cabaye. The wheeling/dealing at this club is so inconsistant, the only thing we can be sure of is not a lot will be spent.
Guest Heneage
Id be curious to know why only a two year deal
Cajun
Id be curious to know why only a two year deal Yeah I thought that too. Not long for a 19 year old who probably shouldn't be a regular yet.

Not long for a 19 year old who probably shouldn't be a regular yet. These yoyo 'premiership' clubs are always reluctant to give players long term contracts unless things don't turn the way they expected and they're stuck with the player whilst also getting relegated. More then likely they gave him a pretty high base salalry that they can't maintain in the championship should they go down. Blackpool operate in the same manner. Not astronomical or anything but i bet they're giving him a much higher salary then what they actually think he's worth. They're taking a risk so will give him a 2 year contract should they go down. I bet there's a year or 2 year option in there too.

Deal collapsed in acrimony Acrimony Llambias & co are horrible. You just know that all failed transfer negotiations end with: Agent: "I'm afraid we can't possibly agree. Sorry." Derek: "Yeah? YEAH?! Well... FUCK YOU!!!! FUCK YOU!!!! We never wanted [insert player name] anyway!" Agent: "Right." Derek: "Oh, and there's some cheap Lonsdale trainers available only at SportsDirect this week. Bye now."
Guest
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footballnation/swansea-city-fc/2011/09/16/swans-in-emergency-appeal-to-premier-league-91466-29432123/ SWANSEA CITY are seeking special dispensation from the Premier League to bring in emergency defensive cover after Fifa blocked their bid to sign Rafik Halliche and Darnel Situ. The Swans were yesterday informed their deadline-day deals to sign the two centre-backs had been ripped up after they failed to gain international clearance following a delay in the initial transfer paperwork. Christ, imagine if we'd done this.
