Mole_Toonfan
They are saying a shortened season is a possibility. Fact is that with the Copa América around the corner there are no dates available, unless we play them without the Copa América players. With no Neymar, Suárez or Messi we might even still lose the league Suarez is banned.
Village Idiot
Spanish court has declared the footballers strike illegal. However, the Spanish FA is still performing a lockout. So we're still without football until they relent.
Village Idiot
The Spanish FA confirms there will be games this weekend.
Ryan
Barca have to pay Arsenal another €4.1 million for the Vermaelen deal if they win the CL One of the worst deals I can remember, no idea what Barca were playing at bringing him in.
Village Idiot
I will be glad if we pay that bonus. But yeah, words fail me to describe that deal.
mrmojorisin75
I will be glad if we pay that bonus. But yeah, words fail me to describe that deal. did you pay something like 30m for him and mathieu and are about to win the league and go for the CL with fucking pique and masch at the back still? you fuckers make us look at good at transfers sometimes, and we don't even want to be
Village Idiot
I contend that Mathieu has been a good squad player, it was just madness to pay what we paid for him, at his age, to be a squad player. Vermaelen, well...
Ryan
At the time, missing out on Benatia looked like a massive mistake but the way he's been for Bayern this season it might have been a blessing.
Village Idiot
After a week where it looked like the club would give him one more season, all Madrid media are now claiming Ancelotti is going to get sacked. Gazzetta dello Sport claims Benítez is Florentino's choice. He's linked with them every time they are looking for a manager, though, so I would take that with a grain of salt. Village Idiot
It should be a fun afternoon in La Liga, btw. All games where there's something to play for are on at the same time; and there's still a few of the CL and EL places yet to be decided; plus four clubs fighting to avoid the two relegation spots yet to be assigned. Village Idiot
Howay Eibar, really want them to stay up. They will, they are playing Córdoba who are relegated and pretty s***. EDIT: 2-0 after a quick start. Looks like they've sealed it.
Village Idiot
Oops, a three-way tie with 35 points relegates Eibar currently.
Village Idiot
Betis promoted to La Liga. Second automatic promotion slot will be a dead heat between Sporting Gijón and Girona. I hope Girona can snatch it, it would be great to have 3 Catalan teams in La Liga again.
Dr Colossus
So are Girona basically the Catalan Middlesbrough?
Village Idiot
Not really, they are far from being the third biggest Catalan team. That would be Sabadell. It would be their first time in the top flight too. Girona is the most important Catalan town outside of Barcelona metro area, though. Lovely place too. Dr Colossus
Oh right, well all the best to them. Always good to see a team come up to the top flight for the first time, like Eibar last year and Carpi and Frosinone in Italy.

The College Dropout
That he felt Benitez focused much more on defensive solidarity for his attackers than he would've liked? Aye. that's the point. that's also what he's good at.
