La Liga 14/15

You'd think after very recent financial calamities which nearly crippled the club, they'd have stopped and had a little think about what they were doing.

It's essentially Lim buying players from himself. Don't think the football people at Valencia had much of a say.

Valencia have signed Rodrigo Caio from Sao Paulo for €12.5m. No idea about him, but seemed highly rated before getting injured last season.

Read something over the weekend saying it's a move to suit his investment group (co-owned by Peter Lim) as much as anything and the Valencia coach had never seen him.

Was Nacho Gonzalez part of this investment group?

Absolutely buzzing. Didn't think we were going to manage it when it got to the last 10 minutes.

Araujo though

I hate stadiums with running tracks.

It's being removed from next season, fans hated it too.

VI what happened to Munir? Just dropped back down when Suarez returned?

Sort of. He rode the pine for a few months and then got lost in the quagmire that Barça B became this season.

There's a loan offer from Ajax, but looks like Lucho wants him to stay in the senior team. With no signings, we need all our able bodies.

Real Madrid have challenged La Liga's agreement to push forward collective TV bargaining one year, taking it to our antitrust authorities. Initially, collective TV bargaining was supposed to start in the 2016-2017 season, but La Liga decided to start it next season. The 2015-2016 deal that Madrid is now challenging would, on average, grant €10m more to all clubs.

Usually one month before the ball is kicked off. So mid-July.

That's great, thanks.

Thinking of heading over to Gran Canaria to catch a Las Palmas game sometime next year.

£40-50m for a 29 year old defender is crazy but..... he's one of the most important players in the team. A leader. Although bought from elsewhere he seems to me, very much a Real man.

He always seemed 'mr real madrid' to me. Ludicrous to let him go for them, but that club is run like a clown show but with enough money and prestige to survive it. £50m is a lot but he is a great player and the finished article, but still that much for a 29 year old blimey.

It would also break up the batshit crazy walking comedy red card dream team of him and pepe  :(
