Ketsbaia
I still don't get the love for Martin Jol, like. Baffling stuff.
brummie
I still don't get the love for Martin Jol, like. Baffling stuff. Nor me. he looks to me like a manager who has reached the limit to his abilities everywhere he has been. Don't Fulham currently have 40 points and sit two places below Newcastle? Interpolic
I still don't get the love for Martin Jol, like. Baffling stuff. How? Even if you ignore everything else he did an excellent job at Spurs, helping to halt a long period of mediocrity. His team have taken their eye off the ball the last few weeks and suddenly he's bang average.
Interpolic
I've uncovered incriminating posts from both of you where you've said you rate Jol. I like you both so I won't post them, but they're there unless you delete them.
Hanshithispantz
He's had a poor season with a relatively poor Fulham side and to some he's suddenly become some kind of shite, negative long-ball merchant He's not in the top tier of managers obviously but both of their careers aren't really comparable, Jol has done well pretty much every where he's been. I like you both so I won't post them, but they're there unless you delete them. There's nothing wrong with that. Time passes, records look different as a result. This time last year, I reckon I could find posts from most people on here rating Pardew way more than they do now.

Who called him a negative long ball merchant? The fact is, on the evidence of the table at the moment, he's done worse than Pardew this year. And he's got a pretty decent squad, too. Aye fair enough but I'm just not sure what's happened in 2 years at Fulham to change your view significantly, he's done a good job with mostly dross there if anything. Ketsbaia
Where's this super duper search function? I labour for ages, basic as hell, yet within minutes IP is finding incriminating posts? Actually, was this Jol praise from when Hughton left? If the alternative is Pardew, I'd big up a broomstick tbh.

It was said a few days ago, I'm just dragging up old news tbh. And he hasn't done worse than Pardew comparatively, go and look at the Fulham squad, man, it's bottom 10 at best. Lambert has also done worse than Pardew this season fwiw, worse than Jol too, it means absolutely nothing.

Ketsbaia
Whey, when you've replaced Mark Hughes, of course it's a great appointment. Its all about perspective
