Jack Colback (now a free agent)

That's our midfield atm. The likes of Hatem and Marveaux are now outcasts and Pardew doesn't give youngsters like Bigirimana decent exposure to improve their game. Even if we have the returning Raylor or sign a Cabella, you can safely say we will see Colback regularly. He's not going to forsake the regular game time at Sunderland to play ten odd games here.

I'd be amazed if Cabella (if he joins) is playing anywhere that isn't infront of the middle 4 and behind the isolated striker.

He'd take Cabaye's advanced role from last season imo. So yeah, more opportunities for Colback then.

Just arguing with a kid on twitter who reckons he's "better than Anita" as all Anita does is "jog round the centre circle playing it sideways and backwards" :anguish:

Think you have just spoken to the King.

Our fan base :anguish:

The most disappointing thing about the club these days. Fans actively supporting the dismantling of our club.

Pardew and Ashley's bullshit really has worked on some :(

Hope he gets abuse every time he plays for us, partly because of the shit he pulled when he played us last season, partly because of how much of a pathetic signing he is and partly because he's ginger.

Pardew is wasting his life as a football manager. He has a budding career in politics if he ever wanted it.

Colback and McCormack are very underwhelming links. Perhaps Time to question Pard's judgement?

Time to ?

Signing Jack Colback is in no way a sign of the club being dismantled.

It actually is. Its just more evidence that free and cheap mediocre players will be signed whilst fattys bank balance get bigger at the Geordie fans expense. Cant wait the see the Ashley arse puckering squad squeal with delight when we  sign Steve Sidwell...

"Support the team, not the regime" doesn't work when the former is constructed to keep the latter going.

We're becoming a gravy train for leeches. A mixture of the mediocre and the half arsed, under explicit instructions to look bang average at best (and more than happy to oblige) but with a little sprinkling of shop-windowers every year, just enough to carry us by until the next lot of television cash comes rolling in.

From manager, to players, to coaching staff. Happy to be here, just so they can put Newcastle United Football Club on their CV at the end of their career and pretend that they were anything other than parasites who only got their foot in the door of this great football club by sheer unfortunate circumstance.

Rotten, from top to bottom.

Amen

I think he's a good player personally, decent signing.

I look forward to you taking that comment  back about October or November.
