All of this paragraph is amazing

The Scots played two full backs, two half backs and six forwards. The English played only one full back, one half back and eight forwards. Since three defenders were required for a ball played to be onside, the English system was virtually a ready-made offside trap. Scotland would come closest to winning the match when, in the closing stages, a Robert Leckie shot landed on top of the tape which was used to represent the crossbar.[1] At some point in the game, the England goalkeeper, Robert Barker, decided to join the action outfield when he switched places with William Maynard.

Messi has nothing on Robert Leckie.

In the world's continuing mission to completely humiliate Brazil in the wake of its 7-1 World Cup semi-final defeat to Germany, adult site Pornhub has allegedly been flooded with highlights of the game.

Footage of the goals bearing the title 'Young Brazilians get f**ked by entire German soccer team' (and other more explicit variants) quickly sprang up following the game (at least according to hundreds of screen grabs on Twiter), with the site eventually asking football fans to cease with the gag while getting a swipe in at Brazil itself.

"Please stop uploading the game highlights to Pornhub... Our public humiliation category is full. #BrazilvsGermany," Pornhub wrote.

Brazil suffered arguably the worst defeat in World Cup history in Belo Horizonte last night, conceding three goals in 76 seconds.

I didn't see France holding up Ribery shirts, or Colombia Falcao shirts. It was over the top cheesy sentimentality instead of focusing on the task at hand. Whether it played a part or not in yesterday's clusterfuck of a game (from Brazil's perspective) can't be proven, but it wouldn't surprise me. May as well have waved a white flag.

Another one unable to see the point. Did Ribery play in the WC? Did Falcao play in the WC? Did any of those two injure themselves so bad they couldn't even sit in the stadium to watch the game, instead had to be back home to watch it? Neymar left the group that badly injured and that badly devastated that the players felt like  doing something for him. Since I live in Sweden I know that the empathy-level in nothern europe is almost non-existent but I swear to god they didn't do this as a way to put him above the team, they did this to show support to a devastated 22 year old kid who missed probably the biggest game in his career.

The point is they shuldn't have. hey should have concentrated on the biggest game of their career(s).

Wonder if they'll have a min silence tonight for Di Stefano since they didn't feel the need last night.

Isn't it FIFA that doesn't have minutes of silence for players during World Cup games? Or am I wrong in this one?

It was six minutes. SIX GOD DAMN MINUTES. Jesus fucking Christ. That fucking Neymar shirt and support has no fucking signficance on the outcome, neither would it have had if he played. All of Brazil blacked out for 6 minutes, six darkest minutes in this countries recent history. Now it's time to look forward to the elections in october and hope for a god damn change for once and then the Copa America next year, Olympics the year after, hopefully the Confed the year after that and then the WC in Russia.

/rattled marra who will be supporting your team later

I'd assume so, aye

I think the over the top focus on Neymar did hurt them tbh Flip.

They basically went out there trying to emotion their way to victory and when it didn't go their way they blacked out and shipped 4 goals in the space of 11 seconds (approx.)

There was no way they should have been playing so gung-ho, it was footballing suicide.

Sorry you had your own Superbowl moment, I'm very familiar with that feel bro.

Fair enough if that's your opinion, we were better until they scored the first, after that we lost it.

And yeah, that feeling is terrible. Appreciate the sympathy, you've always been a classact Shak, compared to Dan

Look at those names, man. Cuthbert Ottaway, Arnold Kirke-Smith, John Brockbank. Can almost smell the tweed.

Taylor.J at full back for Scotland

 get in.

Cuthbert Ottaway, everyone

Ottaway read Classics at Brasenose,[2] and, after going down, trained as a barrister and was called to the bar in 1873. He married, in August 1877, Marion Stinson of Hamilton, Ontario – whom he met, when she was just 13, while touring Canada with an England cricket team[7][8] – and practised law until his death, in London, as a result of complications from a chill caught in the course of a night's dancing.[9] The precise cause of death remains a matter of speculation. Diabetes ran in the Ottaway family, and this may have increased his susceptibility to respiratory diseases. It is also possible that he had earlier contracted tuberculosis.

I was just shocked by the lack of shape, discipline, or tactics/adjustments by Brazil. Nothing was working, and there didn't seem a bit of clue how to get out of it. Soon as it went 1-0 down and the quick 2-0 it was curtains. Felt like watching Newcastle play, the defeated before they enter the pitch type meltdown.

I feel for Flip, I also feel for Brazil, I feel for myself having to not get a chance to enjoy a top football match. I also respect the fuck out of Germany for their ability to punish Brazil on every mistake they made in those 6 minutes. Whether it was a a Brazil lay-down or a German execution story is really up for debate -- what I saw last night was just an awful football match in terms of neutral, a master class of execution (many times you see teams not capitalize in those positions) by the Germans, and a poor showing and embarrassment by Brazil and their entire 23 not named Neymar last night.

 Although Thiago Silva saved face by casually being suspended for this game. Probably knew what was going to happen.

That's my opinion. Just re-watched the first 10minutes to see how the game really was as inside the stadium it was pure blackout for 90minutes.

The Germans had more threathening before they scored. They had the break where Muller could have been sent clear by Klose and the blocked Khedira shot. I'd have to rewatch, but I don't remember Brazil doing anything of note until they shipped the first.

I'll leave it at that. We were the better team for the opening minutes in my opinion. I know it's just a minute for minute update, but at least it shows I'm not PLAIN wrong.

Aye, forgot about Thiago - does David Luiz rely on him to organize?
