Try as you might you know it’s not the same. Was one hope with Adidas but if that retro shirt in the video is L/S I’ll take it.

We are ranked as "Elite" by Adidas. You know by looking at the differences between their "Elite" package vs their "Premium" package, most notably that our kits get promoted globally by Adidas themselves and not just nationally (like they do for their "Premium" clubs).

We'll also get a confirmation when we get the away shirt reveal, as "Elite" teams are meant to get a long-sleeve version of their away kit (not the home kit).

However, Adidas also operate with a ranking system for the clubs within each of their sponsorship tiers and more perks are given the clubs at the top of those rankings than the ones below. As far as some light online takes me, it looks like Bayern Munchen, Man Utd, Arsenal and Real Madrid form some kind of Adidas "Big Four".

Never been on the adidas website before, thought I'd test it here in Australia.  This is what their 'football' front page looks like:

No sign of us at all - usual suspects.  Clearly adidas don't categorise all of their 'elite' clubs the same way.  In fact, like Leeds and Leicester, there is no sign of us anywhere on their official website.

They're paying us a fair whack, so who gives a shite, ultimately - but if we're really 'elite', then adidas are doing a good job of hiding it.

Maybe that's reflective of the local market in Australia? The Thai Adidas website only features the Euros and Madrid.

Most likely.  But the claim is that being 'elite' means adidas market our kits around the world.  Clearly not the case.

I just checked their site, do they even have the shirt for sale? I couldn't see it. If so then it would make sense not to market the product until they have stock.

They don't; they also don't stock Leeds or Leicester.  Nor do they stock Flamengo, who are another 'elite' club.  It seems they have seven 'elite' clubs, but only five ... actually are.

Lack of stock might have something to do with the kit being launched quite late. To have both versions of the kit, replica and authentic, available over here 2 weeks after the release is good going in my opinion. I know it's sold well over here as they're now out of stock in most sizes. I'm sure it will be available in Australia soon enough.

I just checked and they don't have Leeds or Leicester on sale here in Thailand.

Related, new shirt is on the home page of this site arifootball

That Belgium kit is beautiful but it looks like its suffering from the Castore x Aston Villa issue to me.

Makes Lukaku look like he's swimming in it. But I agree it's probably one of the best at the euros

The kit I can't stand now is the Dutch one. In the 90s-00s they probably had the most stylish with the likes of bergkamp, overmars and kluivert wearing it. Now they seem to just go with a puke orange colour including the shorts

Also Germany's has lost its identity going plain white including the shorts and then PINK! Let's save pink away kits for domestic football and hoy some tradition in (like the green one they played England in the SF in 1990)

Interestingly FH reports that the pink shirt is the most successful away shirt in German history

Had a 25% off code and it actually stated not redeemable on club branded clothing. Although it wasn't on half the trainers either the cunts. Sure he will find someone stocking it

My replacement in large arrived and I'm much happier with it.

Was proper chuffed with it, went to see my lass and was like 'Everyone's jealous of my cute little outfit. I know you say I look better in baggier clothes, but you have to admit that this is a better fit in large than it was in extra large'

Took one look at me and just went 'no' - like not even a laugh after it. Absolute bitch

Just had a slightly Castore-esque experience at club shop. Went to get mine and the bairns shirts printed and also last years away shirt, bought in the club shop last month and I have the receipt. Chap says he'll have to check if he can do last years shirt, woman behind counter says they cant do last years as the numbers are a different style this year. I say the PL numbers are exactly the same as last year, to which she says no they were red last year.  I say they were black on the away which is the same as this years home. She has no further excuses not to print it so another chap says they did it for someone else and the number peeled off so they wont do it. As I'm fasirly certain this is just an excuse I tell him I don't mind if it peels off, to which he responds with final ruling of 'it's against company policy to print last years shirt'.

So then I ask for the adidas shirts to be printed with the club font, the woman says its not available yet but the original chap whos serving me says 'its over there'. She rebukes this with 'I know it is but it can't be processed yet'.
