Problem is Bowen has no idea what to do out there. He's still cutting in. No width over there.

Yeah, you can see they're both not as used to going on the outside.

Early in the half still though. Let's see.

I wish we still had some old fashioned wingers.

If he's going to play rashford like that he should be taking Murphy.

These lads have been cutting inside their whole careers. No instinct.

I'm starting to dislike Bellingham mind. Fannying about like he's the only fucka on the pitch. Gets in a good position and cuts back...then cuts back again. Must be doing Kane's head in. As good as he is he comes across as bit of a helmet.

Edit: I do expect this to be an unpopular opinion though.

Nah he's definitely a helmet.

Harry kane just wants some actual wingers to feed him.

He's fucking lazy too..

I think most people have thought this for a while. Great player at times, proper moments player. Often wants to do too much, have extra touches, keep cutting back like you’ve alluded to.

He does seem like a bit of a bellend these days. But I suppose he does play for Real Madrid. So it comes with the territory.

Glad it's not just me. There you go, decent ball across the face and Kane finishes.

Agreed. A player who definitely believes his own hype.

The March international breaks need to be scrapped like (though I have no idea where you'd move it given how overcrowded the schedule is), 9/10 you just end up with turgid games like this, especially if it's a big nation vs a small nation, players for nations like England are just half arsing it as their mind is rightly focused on the run in for their clubs, and for Latvia this game is everything for their players, so they give it their all but don't have the quality, and the result is just pure dull.

Kane in the 90s would have murdered all the records

Don’t they get to play loads more games against the minnows these days, though?

Honestly think they should play the games away from Wembley too. Atmosphere is pretty shite.

As for England, I don't think we have learnt anything in these last two games, both of them have felt like qualifying games under Southgate with the same sort of performances.

Think Hendo is fine as an alternative to Rice, for someone to sit in midfield.

Replace him with Wharton once he gets back up to speed down the line.
