Don’t know if this ref’s a World Cup one but this isn’t boding super well. These are the games where you’re supposed to practice new stuff like penalising them for taking the piss at throw ins etc.

STM Posted Wednesday at 21:24 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:24 I think Madueke has the shirt. Hes not as good as Saka but he lifts the tempo more.
leffe186 Posted Wednesday at 21:24 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:24 If Reece James and O’Reilly are our fullbacks through the tournament we have every chance of making a real impact.
The College Dropout Posted Wednesday at 21:24 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:24 Anderson is so lush like. Loves the ball, moves into space and tries penetrative passes. And to think - he will sell or triple our inflated price. FHECK.

Saka injury is a worry. He’s not good enough to play at 70%. And Madueke isn’t good enough. Gordon will have these fullbacks easily.

The College Dropout Posted Wednesday at 21:27 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:27 Against better teams I’d want Gordon off the bench against tired legs. He can’t trouble a fresh Hakimi but a tired Hakimi?

leffe186 Posted Wednesday at 21:29 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:29 It’s all very well talking about it ref, but unless you card somebody it’s not going to stop. Great play by England.

Edit: the concern I have with Rashford is as always what’s he doing when the oppo have the ball. Against the better teams that could be even more of a concern, and why I’d probably be more likely to start Gordon. STM Posted Wednesday at 21:32 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:32 This is the first time I've really liked the look of an England side. Balance looks decent, its a 442 in effect. Kane can drop while fast wingers make runs. Bellingham looks more in the mood. 2 outstanding combative midfielders. Missing one world class CB IMO. The real question is how we defend when under pressure.
