sbnufc
There is no way that is deliberate like, he's very clearly looking at the ball and running to get back into position. He looked where he was once then looked away. One look is enough to know where he is and deliberately make contact. I'm leaning towards accident, but you can't say there's "no way" either way. Only he knows and probably ever will tbf
1964
Looked deliberate to me if I'm being honest, plus he must have known he had stamped on his head but didn't seem to offer anything by way of apology
Guest neesy111
Said on the FM forums that I wasn't convinced that Mings did it deliberately and had about a dozen Man Utd fans immediately jump on my post saying it definitely was Twitter has been similar to this. I haven't seen a replay that hasn't been slowed down, you can't make a proper judgement until it's seen at normal speed.
jdckelly
think its a red card if its deliberate or not personally.
Tiresias
Mourinho will act like a c*** over this as well. I dunno if be pretty pissed if a player on the other team had tried to murder my player, he had every right to be furious. Obviously no excuse for zlatan trying revenge. Hasn't mings got history of this kind of shit

sbnufc
Watching it again.. looks deliberate actually He definitely stamps down (with force) in a pretty unnatural looking way

Tiresias
Maybe he didn't mean to aim for the head but he was definitely trying to stamp. I really didn't think it looked that ambiguous tbh

triggs
think its a red card if its deliberate or not personally. Yeah that's not how it works. Plenty of non deliberate tackles have resulted in red cards and rightly so

Probably a fair point but he was trying to jump over someone lying on the floor.
triggs
That Surman sending off is so soft. Straightforward decision according to Neville though
Tiresias
Lot of red cards are reckless tackles that are genuine over eager attempts at ball imo. Plenty malicious too and either causes harm but don't think intent is part of it is of it's deemed reckless surely
