Odear
I think Murphy is starting to get into it the more he starts now, caused Arsenal problems all through the first half. Let’s see how he does in the next few games. I wouldn’t expect Kenedy to be starting any time soon, not after the last few games so the place is up for grabs. Infinitely Content
Considering Kenedy is twice the player, I really hope he is starting like. We need his confidence to play & attack.

Not going to contest this - Kenedy is rubbish, but Murphy is so bad, that Kenedy probably IS twice the player.
Infinitely Content
Kenedy isn't rubbish like, he's seriously talented, and even though he's not reached peak-levels this season thus far, he was still very good against City away and was instrumental in the goal we scored. Also don't think Murphy is that bad, it just looks like he's got confidence issues looking from the outside... I just rate Kenedy as technically & physically the far superior player. Rich
Easily the best player on the park versus Spurs.
Kanj
Easily the best player on the park versus Spurs. Was brilliant but for the chance he missed -- had he scored versus Spurs I have no doubt at all he'd have buried his chance versus Cardiff as well. Kanj
We'd be top of league as he'd have like 10 goals by now
Guest neesy111
Easily the best player on the park versus Spurs. It was Ritchie vs Spurs, we lost all momentum after he went off.

That's something, right?

His performance against Cardiff was actually impressively bad. It'll live with me as one of worst performances I've ever seen from a player of ours. I like Kenedy though. Odear
Maybe they could both play in the same starting 11. Keep Murphy wide and play Kenedy up with Rondon.. How could that work while also having Ritchie and Ayoze in the side?
Raconteur
Seems pretty obvious Kenedy is a very good player who isn't in anything like good form. If Rafa can turn that around, Murphy won't get a kick.

Yeah, I'm not even disagreeing with how shocking his performance was, because it was terrible and the worst performance I can remember from a Newcastle player, but you would think people would learn not to judge players on form, particularly when we've witnessed them playing really well.
