I’d keep him as well in part because we’re at the stage of needing to add players, not lose them. One or two injuries and he’s important again.

It wasn’t too long ago he was a regular in a team that got us 4th and then didn’t look out of place at all in the champions league. His main problem is that he got replaced by one of the best players in the world and therefore looks a worse player than he actually was in comparison.

Thank you.

You can’t understand the negative posts? Have you watched him play football at any point in the last year?

He’s very clearly not good enough for where the club want to get too. Recoup some money for him before he walks away for free.

The same arseh....... fans that were calling for Big Dan Burn (England International) to be sold for glue are the same aresholes calling to get rid of Sean Longstaff.  You were one of them weren't you?

Fuck off. The abuse Dan Burn got on here was horrendous.

Aye, those are the same thing.

Had a beer have we, Rod?

Haven’t checked, but would a sale of Longstaff leave us short of homegrown players for the CL?

He’s a solid PL midfielder - he’ll attract interest - but it would be a problem if we’re left short in Europe.  He’s a better player than he’s often given credit for.

When you're beaten in an argument you always resort to the snide comments of "had a beer have we". If you know this site then you should know that I only drink Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The thread is about Sean Longstaff. You think he's shit and I think we should keep him. Let others on here contribute.

However, don't be so shallow as to call someone drunk when they have a different opinion.

Aye, it would, but we’d only be one player worse off.

Depending on who/how many we buy, it’s probably the difference between being allowed to have someone like Kraft registered or not.

You’re right, let’s keep Longstaff for another year. Certainly would be great business if he contributed the same amount as this year and walked away on a free transfer next summer.

Yeah, that’s true.  No issue with the club selling anyone and it feels like we’ve outgrown the lad tbh.

I wouldn’t sell him, personally.

Zero goals and zero assists last season tbf.
