What's happened to Alan O'Brien?

Recommended Posts

he was on the bench today

just didnt think roeder would fancy giving him a chance..

Was he? Ah right... didn't realise.

Was gonna say - because we've seen nothing of him this term, whereas he got two or three sub appearances last season and was in the 16 quite a lot.

Don't rate him tbh. All speed and nothing else.

martins?

The guy who scored two goals on Saturday, three goals in three premiership games, and our joint top goal scorer (who was also out for a month, i may add).

Aye, just him.

anyway, still think martins is more of a supporting striker then a proflic goal scorer..he causes the trouble, others pick the ball up and put it in the net, wich sib was doing recently..

And yet you love Luque.....

Good of you to judge him on the 60 minutes he's played for us.

(I typed that before checking....and it's exactly 60 (injury time not inclusive).)

O'Brien is a LM, whereas Duff, N'Zog and Luque can all play there, so no need to have 4 players who can play in one position in the matchday squad.

The lad has been injured virtually all season,  he's only played once for the reserves and that was against Benfield Saints in a friendly!!  got injured early in the season, recovered to make his international debut and was injured again playing for Ireland.  Hope the lad is now over his injuries as we may need him now Charlie is crocked.

Roeder doesn't think he is fit enough yet after his injuries, the past two games he's been on the bench as an unused sub though
