Kitman
Babayaro got cautioned last night for a foul on Robben. He'll now be suspended but will it be for Chelsea in the LC or Spurs in the Prem? Another poor match for Babayaro and he was raped by Robben more than once (although he had no support from his team mates over that side, to be fair). But at a time when we're so short handed, getting booked in the last 3 minutes or so of the game was unprofessional imo - not only as we needed to be up the other end of the pitch but also because he's now out of another match with no back up for his position. Well done Baba  I hope Roeder was paying attention.
Newcastle Fan
roeder was angry that we lost an importent member (babayaro) our defenece is now less experinced then any defence in the league, and if none of the injured defenders return it will be intresting to see how roeder will line our defenders up for that game.. geordie2000
I thought Babayaro picked up his 5th yellow card on Saturday, if so then he misses the Watford match. If not then he misses the cup game.

PM
Awfully confusing isn't it. Just about every source had him down as being cautioned at Watford but it seems he wasn't. So last night was his 5th caution, meaning he is suspended for our 1st game after the 7 day period, in this case Chelsea in the League Cup.

And he must have known his challenge on Robben, at the end of the match, was likely to get him a booking. Pointless and unprofessional imo :wullie:
Nobby
does that count for league suspensions?
PM
The booking at Watford apparently wasn't a booking. So last night was his fifth. Could I have made my piece on the main site any fucking clearer?!

Dave
'At Chelsea last night, Celestine Babayaro picked up his 5th caution of the season, and as a result will be suspended for the visit of the Champions in the Carling Cup next Wednesday.' PM
it doesn't mention watford at all The idea being, if it had been his SIXTH, I'd have said he got his FIFTH against BLACKBURN, and would miss the game against WATFORD. However, as he didn't, I said he got his FIFTH against CHELSEA and will miss the game against CHELSEA. It's not rocket science. Alternatively you could check here and see that I'm right: http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/SuspensionLists/PendingPlayers.htm
Yorkie
The booking at Watford apparently wasn't a booking. So last night was his fifth. Could I have made my piece on the main site any f***ing clearer?! You could actually. You could have just said "Babayaro's available for the Watford game, but he's suspended for the Carling Cup match." ;-)
