Don't think we have played that high intensity football for most of season, he looks like he's lost it and I have no faith in him sorting it

I think we compromised our intensity due to champions League and potential muscles injuries and fatigue.

But our quality was not strong enough to cope with even a 10 percent dip in performance

We aren't going to be in the CL. Do I think he's capable of getting back in the CL? Yes I do.

Yes because of Howe. Fair play but I’d happily bet you £200 we don’t make champions league next season with Howe in charge. Put your money where your mouth is.

Fulham had nowt to play for as well as us but played us off the park. Feel sorry for the fans who traveled down to London and got a piss poor performance.Wether that’s on the players or manager it’s shite.

We didn't play with intensity for large parts of last season either to be honest, it was quite a frequent criticism on here. The difference was generally the fact that we had a world class striker burying almost everything, and players like Murphy delivering way above their level in terms of end product too.

I guess I'd ask if he made the knockout rounds with this team this year in the UCL. If the answer is yes, then yes he is.

Yet he finishes 12th with £250m spend. Get your head out your arse.

If he stays next season and we manage to get into the CL in the 27/28 season, what do we do then when we know he can’t cope with more than one game a week? Sack him? But then we look like cunts because we’ve just sacked the manager who got us back into the CL. So then we don’t sack him, but that season is a repeat of this season. It’s a dirty circle.

Probably best for all parties for him to leave this summer and then we can begin again with someone new.

You'll have to pay me £200 to read your post again. Anyway, not a chance I'm putting a money bet on with somebody called Jesse Pinkman.

He’s managed in the champions league. And got us further than any other manager we’ve had.

True, he clearly can't cope with more than one game a week.

I honestly don't think we'll have that problem, but it's a very good point, continuous cycle and never evolving.

Sometimes it feels like we're too shy to demand better, we keep ourselves in the box that that the sky 6 want us to be in.

He's a lame duck. He really, really needed a performance today but instead we got that and now have a tidal wave of negativity surrounding the entire club.

We really could spiral into a catastrophic situation next season. At some point in the season the owners will realise he needs to go but they will be terrified to do it as there won't be an obvious top quality replacement available.

It seems they are giving him a pass, purely based on the fact that they themselves fucked up last summer. Absolute fucking madness.

At this point the bloke is simply a bluffer who has the media wrapped around his little finger.

Not even close.

The ones that think big clubs will come knocking on his door the day he leaves Newcastle are in for a surprise.

Find your obsession with Iraola’s appearance a bit weird tbh. Assume it’s a bit.

I'm also obsessed with football nets and ragdoll physics.

Your opinion sucks, in my opinion. Who would you have as the Newcastle manager? In your opinion, obviously.

I'd rather have you as the manager at this stage.

No other manager has spent 800 million pounds on players.
