Is this a tea break like in cricket?  :)

The speed with which all the Birmingham players went straight over the sidelines suggest to me that their keeper was doing a Pope so their manager could speak to them. Seems to have worked, they've been noticeably better since the stoppage.

Yes, they sure have.

The game management the last 10 minutes has been so poor! 3 corners in a row, all still put into the box rather than trying to maintain possession. 3 or 4 opportunities to take it to the corner, yet we've just bombed forward and lost possession.

Given the way the charlton game ended, seems like a weird way to play.

Anyway, huge win, onwards and upwards!

Hopefully keep were we are (or better) going into January. Then add some higher quality and I see no reason why we can't make it three promotions in a row. We should really be top and have played all the top teams apart from Southampton

I reckon LCL are favourites at the moment, they have unlimited funds too, and already have some fantastic WSL standard players!

3 points separating the top teams is madness, such a competitive league!!

Beating who is thought would run away with it stands us in good stead, money surely comes once you’re in the super league too?

It’s not really about the money in the short/medium term in the women’s game. There is no FFP so we can spend what we want, but obviously that has the ‘downside’ that if we invest to succeed then the women’s team will lose money at the rate spend. Women’s teams are also seperate from men’s FFP calculations so in effect with our ownership it’s really a question of spending as much as we fancy.
