Optimistic Nut
Whatever the new badge is I wonder if they'll make the 'I' and 'T' in United easier for the manufacturers to separate as I think every kit provider we've had has had an issue with it in at least one kit. Harry 209
I hope they don't go with a magpie on the new badge. I wont be able to wear it. I can wear this seasons 3rd shirt because it has two magpies on it. If I want to wear an early 80s Umbro shirt, I would have to wear the shorts as well to ensure there is a second magpie present. Hopefully I'll be able to get this across to the powers that be tomorrow.
timeEd32
What they should do to make everyone more people happy and make their lives easier is have someone touch up the current one so it has the right amount of detail and scales well, and then also introduce a simplified one that could play off one of the 70s/80s ones, use a Magpie, etc. The new shirts can have the new one, but they can still use the old one where it makes sense or to sell "retro" things. Liverpool created a new one but their old one isn't completely gone and they also have the This is Anfield one that has elements of both.
