My stance has always been I’ve never seen anything “outstanding” about him. 
 

Even just solely based on the games for and against us he’s looked inferior to what we had here and what he faced when against us.

 

I’ll admit I didn’t expect him to be a key midfielder in this summer’s World Cup. Hold my hands up on that one if picked to start as expected.

This sentence, which I agree with, should make you reflect... on Howe, not on Anderson.
