NUFC Transfer Rumours

Agree - We should be finding our own J Pedro - that’s the whole point of hiring Mitchell

This is where it gets tougher the higher up you go. Signing that sort of player at 18-20 is ideal for a mid-table team whose upper aim is between 7-10th, finding an unearthed gem from nowhere for £10-15m who'll go into a squad and be good enough for a CL or title challenging squad is tougher. The João Pedro who signed for Watford or even Brighton wouldn't have got many games for us at the time ahead of the players we have. Then you have the problem of them not getting the game time they need and pushing on, and with PSR we really can't waste a penny.

Confirmed the first transfer window is 1st June until 10th June. Who knows why they can't just leave it open.

Only allowed to be open for a certain amount of days, 72 or something close to that.

If you look at how the likes of Rice influence games, that’s the kind of multi-threat midfielder I’d like to add.

Someone who is mobile and combative but also has good enough attacking technique to help us at the top end.

Paqueta who’s not cheating would be a good example.

Isn't that Bruno G? His stats are so similar to Rice's. Rice might be a bit faster, but Bruno's passing is better. Their attacking output is pretty much the same.

Yeah, I just want another one. I would like a bit more dynamic and athletic than Bruno probably.

This season's shown we're awesome with Big Joe in the middle, but weaker without him; we lose that physicality and power. I think we need a Caicedo, not a Rice. Bruno's our Rice, and Tonali's improving, scoring goals. I'm sure he'll score more next season. We miss Big Joe so much! That's where we should focus.

Mate, I’m literally in love with him, but he can’t shoot [emoji38]

Stats prove otherwise though If you comparing him to Rice. Unless of course you have your own stats to back your assertion. Which i obviously doubt very much.

Bruno does not have a great shot on him mate. Barely generates any power and often poor accuracy. His technique looks off when he shoots to me, which is mad for such a technically gifted player, just not in that area.

Ahhh well let me give you some stats to debunk your assertion.

Rice has a shot accuracy of 41.48, bruno G 47.62.

Rice has a shot success of 8.37 and Bruno G 14.69.

Im sure you get the picture Rice's Dad.

Howay mate, Bruno shoots like a 12 yo girl. The good thing is he knows this, and usually goes for the scuff into the corner, which is an underrated tactic.

That's just wrong, mate. Compared to other Premier League midfielders, he's right up there above Rice and the rest. That's a fact. He's scored more goals from outside the box than Rice. No argument there.
