Furuhashi from Celtic a decent replacement for Wilson? Just happen to have their match on and he's everywhere.

Always wondered whether any of the Celtic lads would be able to cut it beyond their abysmal Farmers League. Not so sure, the standard is grim.

Aye there were playing in 1956 today but he looked like he had something about him.

We need to shift players end of.

That's why dubs should go really otherwise he'll end up getting a new contract.

Let Mitchell move people out without hindrance.

Let him do his job.

I don’t think Dubravka will stay beyond  this season, he’ll want game time. That said he absolutely has a role to play between now and the end of the season. It’s become apparent from various reports that we don’t stand do make anything PSR wise moving him on other than his weekly wage which is negligible. We stand to lose far more than gain if he moves now (the caveat being unless they have a plan B to Pope coming in such as a Trafford but even then that’s rolling the dice a bit as it’s not guaranteed to work).

Literally ideal for our RW, hasn’t there been some character related issues at Chelsea recently tho? Has he been starting games or on the bench?

I'm all for the no-dickheads policy but there has to be a time as a manager that you back yourself to make it work.

I don't think Madueke is necessarily a bad egg either, just your modern day footballer with a touch of arrogance. If there's anything bad about his character, Gordon will know, probably Hall and Tino too.

If Howe can turn Gordon into a leading PL winger, he could possibly do even better with Madueke.

Physically he's immense, quick, strong, can go both ways with his feet. Looks like another big game player too.

He was in blinding form earlier in the season, has he fallen out with the manager recently? Wasn’t he benched for something which sounded like a fallout or conduct issues

Front six next year:

Gordon       Isak         Madueke

    Joelinton             Bruno

                   Tonali

Add a CB and a keeper and your talking top 4 as a minimum IMO. (Perhaps need some depth to the squad added too).

Seems he's certainly out of favour but Maresca is ruthless. He's quite happy just to ostracise players who are no longer in his plans, they also have loads of players in similar positions, Neto, Sancho, Palmer etc.

No issues IMO. Chelsea will probably push that narrative because if they need sales (which they will) people will be forced out.

Chelsea next season have got Sancho / Felix / Esteavo / Neto for wide areas, and Madueke probably the one that's got a market due to lower wages so we should take advantage.

Yeah that’s a killer front 6

Madueke signed a 7 year contract in 2023 fwiw

Who hasn't got a 7 year contract there (that's been signed in past 24 months)?

They've also got Sterling coming back too :D So probably got to suck up most of his wages even if they get him back out on loan.

Would like us to sniff around Chukwuemeka too from them if available for £20m. He's a perfect CM for current Premier League.

While it protects their asset, ultimately they can't keep a player who they won't use, especially when Chelsea will be desperate for any PSR wriggle room for their next 11 signings for the first team.

Although, I do agree with @SUPERTOONthat Dibling is another great option.

I wouldn't put it past Chelsea to add Dibling to their stockpile either.

He’s been there and ended up back at Southampton. With the way we’ve managed Tino and Hall, we’d have to be a sensible pick for the kid.

Signing players from the SPL is always risky. Take out Celtic and Rangers and the quality level is lower table Championship at best

We used to buy quite a lot of jock players at one time

I have a feeling we won’t add a RW until summer as they either won’t be available this month or will cost too much.
