So yeah, we've looped back around to the point I was making about you somehow still not really trusting Howe on transfers then. Your opinion like, just giving mine.

What’s your opinion of him as a player and how do you feel he improves us?

Reliable source according to Olympiacos fans

Aye, that's the one. Have to think if we are interested our offer must be in that kind of ballpark

Wonder if Vlach going the other way is somehow involved. Think Brighton offered them a player exchange as well

I said that I don’t even believe that we’ve bid 50m for him. Don’t talk about my trust to Howe, you have no clue about that. Even if he (hypothetically) did sign Elanga I wouldn’t think it’s the right choice from him. He can’t be perfect about everything. He would have my trust of most definitely get the best out of Elanga but I would still be of the opinion that if it’s someone else better then Howe would get even more out of said player.

Madueke would be an absolute beast under Eddie Howe. He has a bit of everything in his game and I could see him putting in some incredible numbers.

On Elanga, he'd be a very good player under Howe. He wouldn't transform the team but we'd have 2 very good right wingers instead of 1. He's also got scope to improve. He'd not be one of my top choices, but I wouldn't cry arse if we signed him. I suspect he'd do very well.

It's pretty much certain that we did tbf, it was way more than just a rumour. If you don't believe that then fair enough, but that's the sticking point in us talking about this really.

Get what you're saying about getting more out of a better player, but I was replying to posts about Elanga being shit tbf.

Can people stop flying off the handle every time we're linked with a player who then doesn't sign for us

99% of players we're linked with won't sign for us. Stop believing everything you read on twitter.

Then what's the point in life.

Rapid, young, two footed, good end product with huge room for improvement. I would expect Howe to get out of him what we got out of Gordon's first full season.

First off, I understand Eddie Improves 99% of players through the door.

But for any player costing 50m, I'd prefer them to be closer to the finished product, over needing Howe to drag them up to the standard of a 50m player.

He your number one pick then, even at £50m?

Madueke, Dibling or Elanga. Could live with any of them. Wouldn't want us paying over £40m for any of them though. Rather we take a double punt in Europe and hope one of them comes good.

People are really underrating Elanga here. 50m wouldn’t be a bad price either.

We’d have to spend £50m on any of those. Absolutely mental money for them.

Dibling’s the most exciting but also needs the most development.

People just want something a bit different to kicking it and running fast  I did wonder if I was being harsh on him so I’ve watched his “best bits” on YouTube as a reminder. He’s absolutely rapid but every single thing he does is kick it and run fast after it [emoji38] He’s got more potential than Murphy but it’s really boring.
