That goal was the one and only time he did it, which proves Pata's point. He was a tap in merchant, it's not a crime, but he definitely was one and it's okay to not like those sort of strikers.

RvN’s first touch was absolutely brilliant. He scored some lovely goals for PSV, Man U and Real. Pippo Inzaghi he wasn’t.

Carlton Palmer, just awful.

Gus Caesar, great name, shit footballer.

Jon Flanagan, Just a giant pair of scouse ears.

Steve McMahon, absolute clogger.

Dennis Wise, cunt.

By varying scales and for different reasons, off the top of my head:

Kane (because i got it very wrong)

Arbeloa

Morata

Werner

Havertz

Lukaku

Jenas

Manager level:

Martinez

I think Morata is so close to being one of the best strikers in the world with his skill set but I think he's just a bit off mentally. Some of his play is ridiculously good

Might add

Richard Dunne

Ashley Young

Rory Delap

Paul Konchesky

All of the above are/were nothing spectacular, and rarely, if ever got anyone out their seat but they had decent careers.

Rory was a throw in specialist though, probably the best at it there ever was.[emoji38]

Richard Dunne was very good. Won Man City player of the 3 or 4 years in a row. I know it was a very different Man City but still

Flanagan was great during Liverpool’s title charge in 13/14. Was pretty disappointed with how his career panned out because he certainly showed some ability that season. Or maybe it was a case of Suarez raising everyone’s level.
