The stuttered run-up and the ‘Panenka’ rely on the other party making a mistake, rather than the technique of the taker; that’s their biggest failing. Neither are the result of good technique, but daft cunts will fawn over them when they come off as if it is the result of the quality of the player - they are the complete opposite. iklgizmo Posted April 19 Share Posted April 19 Just watching the women's champions league semi-final and Arsenal have scored a pen given for the exact situation as the one Palace got! Keeper came to punch the ball, completely missed and took out the arsenal player. Play goes on and no one thinks anything of it, then VAR calls it back for a pen!
