Was Chelsea his last start up top for us? Maybe not, but it wasn't too long after that we pulled the old Wissa-roo, was it? I'm not sure Nick is the type of player where you scrap everything and build your system around him, but I also think our 4-3-3 is tired and needs to be put out of our misery, and having Woltemade as an option up front provides a lot of opportunity in a new system. Not sure Eddie has it in him though.

Not sure Eddie has it in him though. Played up top the following game against Man Utd but then was rotated in and out for Wissa before being slung in midfield. Always thought you get nowhere from rotating strikers, a bit like keepers, it’s a position where they really need confidence. We’d absolutely have to build our team around him to see the best of him. It’ll never happen though with Howe.
Magpie Mover
It will be interesting to see how the Germans use him in tonight's game if anyone is watching.

HMSIllustrious
Probably comes on at the start of the second half for Havertz, who is not very effective as a lone striker.
HMSIllustrious
Germany‘s wingers and Wirtz (Gnabry is hardly playing centrally) are going to play rather close to their CF, will be interesting to see how it works out - Switzerland aren‘t bad and a goal against them could be a nice boost in confidence. That's how we should set up get players around the striker and get him involved.
HMSIllustrious
Havertz and Gnabry should have scored already…all four offensive players rotate quite well and then, on the counter, Switzerland scores lol.

I thought he would be one of the world cup managers moving back to club football this summer but apparently he wants to stick around until 2028 when his contract ends.
