:celb: as a Belgian with a very poor national team, it's great to have some young ones who seem te perform...  O0 That Mirallas fella is even in Belgium pretty unknown, but playing very well...

Fellaini picks up his second red in 3 games (2 yellow vs Finland too), he's no footballer, just a beast

I'm glad they kept that clean sheet,

As i put most of my eggs in a Belgian basket.

They better give Vanden Borre his assist points!

Most of the bookings so far have been very soft. Difficult to play naturally with such a petty ref..

Yeah, the sending off was a joke and the ref has been so fussy.

You'd think he was a continental ref with the free kicks he's giving but he's Scottish!

Krul not playing for Holland. Pity..

Seeing Drenthe play I wonder if he might be an option for Newcastle as left back. Has had a very decent first full season at Feyenoord, full of energy and a typical left wing back for a 3-5-2. He reminds me of Bernard (the first time he was with us)..

Edit: penalty for Holland scored: 1-0 vs Portugal. Goalscorer: Ryan Babel.

Nani's done nowt in either of the games i've seen him in so far.

He doesn't seem to like the physical game.. Bodes well for him in the Premiership..

Sounds like Ronaldo when he first came to the Prem.

Babel and Drenthe look like players who will only get better!

Babel (everyone knows about him)

but Drenthe less well know and is a left winger who can play LB (aparently) but he is everywhere and playing really well, i like :D

Agreed, I've been very impressed with Drenthe so far, seems to have a quality left foot.

Drenthe plays mostly as a left back for Feyenoord, but prefers to play more offensively.. He's only 20 years old. As I said, he could be an option for us as a left back, seeing as we really need two. He loves life at Feyenoord however, so I can't see him changing clubs to be a backup player at this stage..

Watching him, I've been thinking the same thing!
