robbo_11
Six Premiership clubs are interested in Feyenoord's Royston Drenthe - with West Ham and Sunderland the leading chasers. (The Independent)
Guest toon tone rudeboy
Feyenoord said that they would not be selling Drenthe... but then again West Ham spending the money might change that.

geordie jamie
He has been the player for me that has stood out from any player in the championship so far. Think he is worth the gamble.

Pushing the price up? Most likely. Especially with more talk of him today.

Fugazi
Notice how quickly the Dutch were demanding the ball be put out for Drenthe's injury when they lost the ball, they were in no hurry whe they were in possesion.

Aye. Wonder what the (same) ref will do if another situation arises in this game like the one the other day.
Dave
Drenthe started well again. No scout at this tournament can fail to be impressed surely.

Dave
What happened? I missed it. Missed a header when last man. The linesman gave a foul against the attacker for 'pulling' somehow. I didn't see a replay.
Shak
Unlucky with that offside, pretty cautious stuff from both sides so far. Be very happy if we're after Babel, still only 20 years old and already looks to be a very strong, tall player. In a couple of years he'll fill out and be a real physical presence. Couple that with the fact that he's quite pacey and seems to have a good touch and he's a tremendous prospect. Still not there yet, has some flaws of course but at his age he's well worth the punt. Kneejerk or what, makes a mistake in a game and this means he has no right to be mentioned about captaincy.
